Adding a database to your website provides functionality that would not otherwise be available or that would be difficult to manage. Among the uses of a database on your site are:

    - Dynamic Web Pages
Database integration makes it easy to deliver dynamic web pages built from stored data. This simplifies and streamlines the management of large sites or frequently changed content.

    - Data Collection / Data Management
A backend database allows you to record and manage input that is entered by users of your site through forms.

    - Forums and Features
A database allows you to offer more such as discussion forums incorporated into your site.

    - ECommerce
A database is needed if you would like to use your site for transaction processing, shopping carts or electronic commerce.

We have the skills to work with a variety of databases ranging from simple flat-file based data systems to SQLite to mySQL to Microsoft SQL Server. Most of our work is done in mySQL.

Feel free to contact us if you'd like to see applications and systems that we've built using databases as part of the website.
